Dimitrios Topaltzas
Chief Executive Officer
Dimitrios founded Metrico Wireless in January 2003 with the goal of introducing innovative user-experience performance metrics into the wireless handset performance approval process. Prior to founding Metrico Wireless, Dimitrios led the formation of Telephia's Network Performance business unit (1999) and directed the business unit to establish what is today the nation's premier syndicated wireless network performance benchmarking business. Prior to Telephia, Dimitrios was Vice President of Sales at Allgon Enterprises based in Dallas, TX. Dimitrios was responsible for the management of Allgon's wireless base station equipment clients including Lucent, Nortel and Motorola. Dimitrios holds an MBA from Carnegie Mellon University and a BS in Electrical Engineering from University of Maryland.

Desmond Owens
Chief Operating Officer
Des joined Metrico Wireless in 2006 and is responsible for the development and growth of the customer facing business, including Sales, Marketing and Business Development. Before joining Metrico Wireless, he held a number of key executive roles at Actix Inc., where he started the U.S. operations as a subsidiary of Actix Ltd. During his seven years with Actix, he played an instrumental role in making the company the global leader in performance engineering software for the wireless industry, where he helped grow the company's annual revenue to over $45 million. Des has held management positions at Comsearch in the United States and T-Mobile, Cellnet and British Telecom Research Labs in the United Kingdom. Owens earned a Bachelor of Engineering degree from the University of Sheffield in England with academic scholarships from British Telecom and the Whitworth Society of engineers.

Jeffrey Horner
Executive Vice President of Technology Development
Jeffrey joined Metrico Wireless in June 2003. Jeffrey has spearheaded the development of the majority of Metrico Wireless' measurement and reporting infrastructure and has managed the development of Metrico Wireless Nomad; the industry's leading handset-agnostics voice quality measurement tool. Prior to joining Metrico Wireless, Jeffrey was Senior Manager of Telephia, Inc. where he managed operations for Telephia's Network Performance Business Unit. Prior to Telephia, Jeffrey was an RF Engineer for Bell Atlantic Mobile in Maryland. Prior to Bell Atlantic, Jeffrey was an RF Engineer for Comsearch, Inc., a provider of wireless communications consulting services based in Reston, VA.

Shiblie Shiblie
Executive Vice President of Operations
Shiblie joined Metrico Wireless in April 2010 and is responsible for the company's performance evaluation operations. Shiblie draws on more than twenty years of extraordinary cross-functional management experience with successful telecommunications key players Ericsson, LCC International, and Tecore Networks. Prior joining Metrico, Shiblie was Chief Operating Officer at eTelemetry, an early-stage IT network appliance company where he was responsible for the company's operations, engineering and sales. Shiblie also served as Tecore's Chief Operating Officer and was instrumental in growing the company to its position in the wireless industry where it dominated its market segment. Shiblie holds an Electrical Engineering Degree from the University of Maryland.

Richard McNally
Vice President of Information Products
Rich joined Metrico in February 2008, and is responsible for Metrico's Information Products, most notably Metrico's Performance Analytics program. Before joining the Metrico team, Rich spent 9 years at Actix Ltd, where he was the Director of Global Partners. He holds a bachelor's degree from Virginia Polytechnical Institute and State University (Virginia Tech) in Aerospace Engineering.

Eric Sinclair
Director of Information Products
With more than 17 years of experience in the telecommunications industry, Eric joined Metrico in 2010 to expand the Information Products business unit. He now directs the Performance Analytics program. Before Metrico, he has held various positions around the globe including Canada, Australia, England and recently Hong Kong, as the regional director of engineering for Actix Ltd. Eric has a bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Montreal - Ecole Polytechnique, specialized in Space Technologies and Telecommunications.

Simon Bone
Director of Data Performance Technology and Products
In June of 2008 Simon Bone joined Metrico's management team, where he currently works as Product Manager. Simon is in charge of the planning and creation of all the solutions in Metrico's line of products. Formerly an employee of Actix Ltd, Simon was the Product Manager for all product suites since 1999. He has a Masters of Information Systems Engineering from Imperial College, located in London, England.

Ardeshir Ghanbarzadeh
Director of Services Development
Joining Metrico in 2011, Ardeshir is responsible for the development of new and existing services within Metrico’s business lines. He brings with him 14 years of telecom industry experience in network management, professional service delivery and Voice over IP solutions. Prior to joining Metrico, Ardeshir was Vice President of Operations at VoIP Logic and and Founder of Sundial Network Services. He holds a BS in Telecommunications Management from New York Institute of Technology and MBA in International Business and Finance from CUNY-Baruch College.

Magnus Lidman
Director of Software Development and Analytical Infrastructure
Magnus joined Metrico in April 2010 as Director of Systems Development. Prior to Metrico, Magnus worked for Actix for 9 years, helping them architect and build large scale enterprise systems. In his current role, Magnus oversees the production of Metrico's software systems and applications. He is also overseeing enterprise systems architecture as well as managing the development team. Magnus received his Masters in Computer Science from Chalmers University of Technology, in Gothenburg, Sweden.

Rupert Lloyd
Director of Research and Development
Rupert joined Metrico in November 2006, and is responsible for directing Metrico's software development activities. Prior to joining Metrico Rupert spent 12 years working at Actix Ltd where he held several software development management positions in the UK and US and served as a Director for five years. Rupert has also worked at the UK Admiralty Research Establishment at Portland Bill. He holds a bachelor's degree in Engineering Science from Loughborough University, UK.

Sachin Parekh
Director of Operational Systems and Reporting
Sachin joined Metrico in 2004 and is responsible for managing the Customer Relationship for our pre-launch services. As one of Metrico's first employees, has worked in many areas of the company, including Operations, Product Management, Business Development and Services Management. Sachin holds a Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering from University of Mumbai and a Masters degree in Electrical Engineering from Morgan State University.

Tim Hijazi
Director of Measurement Operations
Tim joined Metrico in April of 2010 and is responsible for the measurement operations teams, lab and field. Before taking on his current role, Tim managed the A-GPS field testing team at Metrico and successfully increased that team's efficiency, capacity and revenue. Prior to joining Metrico, Tim spent 4 years at Andrew Corporation's wireless LBS group as an engineering manager and over 6 years with AT&T, bringing more than 12 years of telecom experience in both the wireless and landline fields. Tim holds a Bachelors degree in Telecommunications Engineering from the Rochester Institute of Technology, NY.

Director of IT Operations
Prior to joining the Metrico team in March 2010, David worked for six years as the Director of Information Technology for First Advantage SafeRent, Inc. David has 18 years of enterprise IT experience with a focus in deploying scalable and highly resilient technology solutions. As Metrico's Director of IT Operations, he is responsible for leading the successful implementation and overall management of Metrico's global technology infrastructure.

Ron Johnsen
Laboratory Operations
As Metrico's Senior Acoustic/Audio Phone Designer, Ron oversees all laboratory-based testing conducted for our clients. After a total of 13 years with his previous company, Sony Ericsson, Ron joined Metrico in December of 2009. Ron received his Bachelor's from the University of Akron in Electrical Engineering. He received his Masters in Electrical Engineering from the University of Florida.

Jeff Atkins
Vice President, Asia-Pacific & CALA
Jeff joined Metrico Wireless in 2011 and is responsible for international business development. Jeff has over 15 years of wireless industry experience, including sales and marketing leadership roles at Actix and product management and wireless technology consulting roles at Comsearch. Jeff has BSEE and MSEE degrees from Virginia Tech.

Before joining Metrico, he held an executive role at Actix Inc., as part of the group that started the U.S. subsidiary of Actix Ltd. During his seven years with Actix, he played an instrumental role in making the company the global leader in performance engineering software for the wireless industry, helping to grow the company's annual revenue to over $45 million. Dave has held management positions at Comsearch in the United States and T-Mobile. Dave earned a Bachelor of Engineering degree from the University of Durham.

Tim Lauer
Vice President, Asia-Pacific
Tim joined Metrico in May 2008. He lives in Taipei, Taiwan where he set up Metrico's Asia headquarters and is responsible for developing product and services business with Asia's leading smartphone Brands/ODMs and wireless services providers. Prior to Metrico, Tim was Managing Director of APAC Ventures, a business development firm who works with privately held technology companies to develop Asia sales, marketing and venture funding opportunities. Tim also worked for Intel for 8 years in engineering, marketing and sales positions during which time he had the opportunity to work in Greater China for 4 years and to learn Chinese. Tim holds a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from Florida State University and an Executive MBA from the Graziadio School of Business, Pepperdine University.

Amit Malhotra
Vice President of Marketing
Amit joined Metrico in 2011, and is responsible for the development and promotion of the company's value proposition to the global wireless industry, based on inputs from the market and our client base of leading service providers, device OEMs and enterprises. His career in the industry has included positions at a major service provider (Sprint), and at developers of WiMAX (Proxim) and LTE (Tecore) network infrastructure. Amit received his MBA from the University of Michigan, and his BA from Dartmouth College.
