Wireless Handset Voice Quality Testing System

Metrico Wireless Muse is a complete system for the evaluation of wireless handset voice quality performance. The Muse system consists of both hardware and software, designed to characterize handset device performance as perceived by the mobile consumer.

The system efficiently manages the repetitive audio sourcing and recording process and provides real-time audio quality scores using PESQ 862.2 MOS. Collected information is scored in an open-format file that contains GPS time and location information for each record.

The software applications included with the Muse system are used in the field (mobile) and landline (base) locations to provide real-time downlink and uplink voice quality performance information, as well as to summarize captured audio quality results.

Metrico Wireless Datum is a complete solution for the evaluation of wireless device data throughput performance. The Datum application runs on either a mobile agent or a laptop for the flexibility and convenience of a wide range of testers and device types.

Datum enhances data test accuracy by providing a single technical solution capable of meeting a full scope of testing requirements. The software interface allows users to select the data test applications, configure the test process and customize monitoring views. Management control of the entire process is enabled with central availability of test configurations, methodology and results.
